Just read that Brittany Murphy has died of a heart attack aged 32. There are rumours that it was partly due to prescription medication but nothing confirmed. Such a shame, she was one of my favourite actresses. She had such a luminous prescence ( Read more... )

Just finished watching my DVD of Control, the Ian Curtis/Joy Division biopic. I still find it absolutely breathtaking, beautifully shot and amazing performances. It could have been a disaster but I think they actually made a brilliant film, and I think they were totally robbed of an Oscar. It will be interesting to see the new Joy Division ( Read more... )

I forgot to mention that I got the new issue of Bizarre a couple of weeks ago. I know they promoted it as this big relaunch/revamp but to be honest, I didn't that see that much different (apart from the fact they got rid of that sealed section at the back where they reviewed all the porn).
